Marie Watler

Marie Watler, MA • BCCT • RCC

Marie is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Certified BC teacher with a Masters of Education focusing on special education. She is an approved service provider for Autism Funding and for the First Nations Health Authority.

Marie has over 20 years of experience working with children and youth of all ages, however, her expertise is not simply theoretical.  

As the mother of two (now adult) children with learning differences, Marie understands at a personal and professional level the challenges facing youth, and the impact this can have on families.

 During COVID, Marie conducted all of her sessions on-line. At the request of families, Marie continues to see the majority of her families on-line. If you are not sure if virtual counselling would work for your child or teen, Marie offers a free trial appointment.

Marie’s on-line sessions include many interactive & engaging programs that have been very popular with kids/teens. She’s always adding new material!

In person sessions are offered in Quathiaski Cove on Quadra Island. Please contact Marie for the location for these appointments.
